WWE Issues Statement Regarding NXT Diva Jasmin's Racist Tweets

WWE has responded to the news that NXT Diva Jasmin (Nhooph Al-Areebi) posted several racist messages on her personal Twitter account.

The messages, which were posted several years ago, included use of the n-word and the NXT Diva calling a black wrestler her slave.

Upon conducting a ‘thorough investigation,’ WWE has determined that Al-Areebi will not be disciplined. In a statement issued to PWInsider.com, WWE says:

“WWE conducted a thorough investigation and has determined that Nhooph Al-Areebi’s (aka Jasmin) Twitter account was used without her knowledge when she was 16 and 17 years old. Jasmin remains apologetic for any offensive remarks that were made.”

The Twitter account was deactivated this week after the racist tweets began circulating online.
