Riddle Wants to Retire Lesnar, Banks Teases Match, 2 ROH Matches

Brock Lesnar is already back in WWE, and he showed that he is still a dominant force during Crown Jewel when he laid out Braun Strowman with multiple F5s in order to win the Universal Championship for the second time in his career. Although some may be upset to see Lesnar wearing the title once again, NXT Superstar Matt Riddle is overjoyed by the fact. The new NXT wrestler recently took the time to congratulate Brock on his championship victory on Twitter, but he also ambitiously declared that he will be the man to retire “The Beast Incarnate” someday. Could these two former UFC fighters go at it in the ring someday? It will certainly be interesting to see what takes place between these two within the next few years.

Thank you Brock for coming back and winning the universal title! You’re right where I need you bro and it’s gonna be that much sweeter when I retire you in a couple years. #kingofbros #bro #stallion #nxt #wwenxt #wwenetwork pic.twitter.com/2e4cbvxWRN

Although Women’s Tag Team Championships were not announced during WWE’s Evolution pay-per-view, rumors still persist stating that the new titles are on the way. Even Raw Superstar Sasha Banks has talked about the topic in the past, but interestingly, Banks just teased facing a current Raw roster member and a WWE Hall of Famer in tag team action in the near future. After Beth Phoenix tweeted out a fan sign requesting that WWE introduce tag team titles for the women’s division, Sasha issued a challenge for the Divas of Doom to return in order to take on herself and Bayley in tag team action. The Divas of Doom consisted of Beth Phoenix and Natalya. Given that Natalya is still active and Phoenix wrestled back in January, perhaps this is one match that may not be too far off from taking place.

Ring of Honor could be losing Cody Rhodes and Hangman Page very soon, but the promotion still has an incredible amount of talented performers on their roster at the moment. ROH is bringing the Global Wars tour to Lowell, Massachusetts on Thursday, and two major matches have just been announced for those shows. On November 8th, BUSHI of New Japan Pro Wrestling will be coming in to take on Matt Taven. That’s not all though as it has also been confirmed that Dalton Castle will team up with Juice Robinson to face the team of the Beer City Bruiser and “Kingpin” Brian Milonas. All of these matches and more will be coming when ROH arrives at the Lowell Memorial Auditorium later on this very month.
