Big boost for Limerick as Nash makes u-turn and returns to training

A LITTLE OVER a month after leaving the Limerick hurling panel due to ‘personal reasons’, Barry Nash returned to training with John Kiely’s side last week.

The 20-year-old last month left the senior intercounty panel ahead of Limerick’s Allianz Hurling League campaign but now appears to have made himself available again ahead of the championship.

Limerick management this afternoon confirmed that Nash, who was man-of-the-match in the 2015 Bord Gáis Energy All-Ireland U21 hurling final, is back in the panel.

Speaking at the league launch in Croke Park in February, Kiely insisted that the door remained open for the forward to return.
